Fare + Friends

For her last show in Bristol before moving to Brighton, indie-folk artist FARE is performing an intimate show at The Crafty Egg Fishponds, and bringing along some friends to join her.

FARE is the solo, bedroom project of ambient indie-folk musician, Christina Smith (of Prom Committee and Tapes). Using delicate and honest story-telling, FARE brings out a certain vulnerability when performing her music live. The “captivatingly beautiful sonic landscapes through reverb-drenched guitar loops” provide a “luscious backdrop” to thoughtful lyricism. Said to have an "open and effortless" style, FARE accompanies emotive, ethereal vocals with ambient guitar. (Think Phoebe Bridgers, Grouper, Adrianne Lenker, Squirrel Flower) Since releasing her debut EP ‘Overgrown’ in October 2017, FARE has continued performing at intimate venues all over the UK ~ as well as at festivals including Boardmasters, Glastonbury, and The Great Escape. She joined Ben Howard in Utrecht, NL, in late November 2018.

Music from 7pm, free entry.
